Following the sale of Ernst & Young’s Jersey trust company to Royal Bank of Canada in 2000, Williams continued his international tax practice as a director of RBC’s Regent Tax Consultants until his retirement in 2004.


Since 2004 Williams has advised a select group of family office clients, offshore trustees and international private wealth clients through his ATC consultancy practice in Jersey and Florida. In this role he has served on the board of client wine companies on four continents, including as Chairman of Hess Collection Winery in Napa.

Mount Rainier
A PADI Dive Instructor, he has climbed Mount Rainier and Kilimanjaro and is an avid ocean swimmer who includes skiing, mountain climbing, piano, guitar, opera and languages as his interests. He has 3 children and resides in Jersey with his Dutch wife. They split their time between Europe and the United States.
